Do your first stitch to start the bullion.
Enrole a linha na agulha. O sentido é importante… basta lembrar que os fios não devem se separar ao enrolar.
Wrap the thread around the needle like you would do for the bullion knot. Do not worry about tension or anything!
Junte as “voltas” do rococó pra checar a altura do ponto que deve ser um pouco maior que o ponto inicial.
I usually join the coils to check the size of the bullion – just a bit longer than the size of the stitch.
Puxe a linha, devagar e sem se preocupar em segurar as voltas do rococó, como normalmente é feito esse ponto.
Pull the thread, slowly. Don’t worry about holding the coil. Just let it go.
Continue puxando, calmamente, sem estresse mas com firmeza.
Keep pulling gently. No strong tug on the thread.
Nessa altura, você já pode parar… você reparou nessa alça que se formou?

Insira a agulha nessa alça e puxe na sua direção até endireitar as voltas. Mantenha o fio principal sob tensão. A agulha serve apenas como uma alavanca pra estender a alça.
Put your needle in the loop. Keep main thread stretched (left hand) and with the needle (right hand), pull loop up until coil is straingtened.
Agora começa a diversão… com ajuda da agulha, ainda dentro da alça, empurre a série de voltas pra frente ao mesmo tempo que continua puxando o fio principal. Não tem segredo aqui… enquanto a mão esquerda puxa o fio, a outra empurra a “mola” pra frente.
Use your needle as a lever to push the coil. Start pulling main thread slowly while pushing forward the coil.
Continue puxando, devagar, enquanto empurra o rococó que começa a se formar.
Keep pushing forward while pulling main thread. Remember to keep the loop always gently stretched while pushing.
O rococó está pronto! Pra finalizar, insira a agulha no final do ponto e leve a agulha para o verso do trabalho.
When almost done you can push the coil with the needle on top. Take the thread to the back and the bullion is done.
Aqui nessa série, eu usei 6 fios de linha mouliné, mas você também pode trabalhar com apenas dois fios. Lembre-se que o segredo é puxar o fio principal devagar à medida que empurra a série de voltas. Uma vez que você descobrir o movimento certo entre puxar e empurrar, tenho certeza que vai fazer rococó até enjoar!
